For the twelfth year in a row, Fonó will host the Wine&Violin: Violin Makers' Salon, which was established on the initiative of violin maker Márton Faragó-Thököly. Every year, violin makers, along with bow makers, present their new instruments in the framework of the exhibition where the instruments can be played, taken in hand and admired up close, all the while tasting wines selected to best represent the exhibited instruments.
Exhibiting winery: Egly Vineyard and Winery brought its headquarters to life at the base of the Castle of Sümeg, in the cellar of the five-hundred-year-old bishop's palace. Winemaker Márk Egly's philosophy is that wine is nothing more than the eternal dialogue between nature and man.
