Andras Toth: piano solo

Andras Toth is a musical producer, DJ, contemporary pianist, and a defining artist in the Hungarian underground scene.

In 2007, he made his debut on vinyl under the auspices of a Berlin techno label. His music continues to see the light of day through American, Canadian, German, and Hungarian labels, primarily on vinyl. He has performed multiple times at London's Fabric, the REX club in Paris, and has given solo piano concerts at the renowned ARMA17 in Moscow. As a collaborative producer, he recently assisted Frenk in his authorial album. His successful collaborations with San Francisco-based Andrew Rasse, spanning over a decade, have been featured in various contexts, including the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and sets by house legend John Digweed.

His ambient-style, minimalist, repetitive piano compositions are mainly heard during improvisational solo concerts. Still, they also frequently appear as soundtracks for various installations and documentary films.

Currently, he is working on the music for a major Moroccan-Italian-Hungarian feature film and wrapping up his solo piano album, which the audience will have the first opportunity to listen to on the Fonó Steinway & Sons Essex piano!
