Bulgarian dance house with Martenica

The Martenica ensemble offers a glimpse into the rich world of Bulgarian folk music and dance, where the program invites exploration into the colorful array of different dialects. The diversity of rhythms meets the oriental tones of melodies, performed on the most characteristic folk instruments of the Balkans by the ensemble. The dances are taught by members of the Martenica Ensemble, who have been active for 40 years, assisting in the stylish acquisition of the movements and steps of horos and rachenitsas.
