14th Wine&Violin: Violin and Bow Makers Salon

For the fourteenth year in a row, Fonó will host the Wine&Violin: Violin and Bow Makers’ Salon, which was established on the initiative of violin maker Márton Faragó-Thököly. In the tradition of master craftsmen, each new instrument is handmade, uniquely and solely outside of a standardised manufacturing process. In the annual salon, local and regional violin makers, along with bow makers, present their new instruments and bows in the framework of the exhibition. The instruments can be played, taken in hand and admired up close, all the while tasting locally produced wines selected to best represent the exhibited instruments.

The program is free on both days, except for the Saturday evening concert, which requires a ticket.
