Fonó Session: Zither Folk Jam

“Grab your instrument and join in!”

We welcome everyone to a zither-focused folk jam led by Anikó Barna, a student of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

The Fonó Session series offers relaxed, community music-making for all. Beginners and advanced musicians alike, as well as music lovers and curious listeners, are welcome to join, with or without an instrument.

“I am inviting anyone who plays the zither, loves zither music, enjoys collaborating with zither players, or even dancing and singing along to zither tunes. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been playing, feel free to join! Please bring a C-tuned instrument so we can play together.”
