Kollár Klemencz Kamarazenekar: A lányok nem sírnak (Girls Don’t Cry)

The new album by the Kollár Klemencz Kamarazenekar is, once again, something entirely different from the songwriter’s previous releases. And yet we drift along the same river as before, carried by the songs, only now in a different boat. This one is called A lányok nem sírnak (Girls Don’t Cry).

Boldly stepping away from the tone of earlier albums, the new material incorporates pop elements, bringing together Kollár-Klemencz’s present-day melancholic, classically tinged ballads with the pop sensibility familiar from his earlier days with the band Kistehén. Ever restless and experimental, the songwriter continues to dig deeper with unwavering lyrics that stir and unsettle our emotions.
