Magos Együttes concert and dance house

The Magos Együttes, performing traditional Hungarian folk music, is one of the most outstanding groups of the Hungarian dance house movement. Their program is built on the rich collections of 20th-century ethnomusicologists and the instrumental knowledge they acquired from master tradition-bearers.

Through their music, they bring to life the diverse regions of Transylvania, ranging from slow, lyrical love songs to tightly pulsing dance tunes. Alongside the most popular regions of the dance house movement such as Kalotaszeg and Mezőség, the band also introduces audiences to the unique musical worlds of the Maros mente and Székelyföld, guiding listeners into the depths of Transylvanian folk traditions.

At the concert, the ensemble will also present new arrangements, alongside selections from their albums released by Fonó Budai Zeneház (Fonó Buda Music House), including:
