Martenica Bulgarian Dance House

The Martenica Band offers a glimpse into the exceptionally rich world of Bulgarian folk music and dance, inviting audiences to explore the colorful mix of regional styles found across different dialects. A wide range of rhythms meets the distinctly Eastern character of melodies, brought to life by the most characteristic folk instruments of the Balkans. The dances are taught by members of the Martenica Együttes, active for over 40 years, guiding participants in learning the movements and steps of horo and rachenitsa dances with authentic style.
